Career Services

Your first year at Oberlin is about exploration, and the Office of Career Services is committed to helping you investigate your interests, to providing you with opportunities to gain work experience during the fall and spring semesters, winter term, and summer, and to developing the skills to successfully present yourself in application and interview situations.

Our staff will help you and recent alumni of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Conservatory of Music identify and achieve meaningful career objectives that synthesize your Oberlin education and experiences. We offer career advising, a career research center to learn about the range of possibilities for your chosen field, internship and scholarship opportunities, a database for fellowships to graduate schools and graduate-level research programs, among other services.

During your first year at Oberlin, take advantage of our office’s friendly advisors, useful resources, experiential opportunities, and innovative programs. We welcome the opportunity to help you set goals, investigate your interests, and expand your horizons.

Visit us in our main office in Stevenson Hall–Longman Commons or our conservatory satellite office in Robertson 129.
