Multicultural Visit Program
The Multicultural Visit Program (MVP) is a selective, all-expenses-paid visit program for high-achieving high school seniors who have not yet had the opportunity to visit campus. We encourage applications from students from diverse backgrounds such as Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Hispanic/Latino/a, or Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. To support socioeconomic diversity, the selection committee will also consider students from families with limited financial resources, regardless of cultural or racial background, as well as those who are among the first in their families to attend college (first generation). Visit the MVP website to learn more about the program. Fall 2016 MVP is now closed; applications for Fall 2017 MVP will be available late summer 2017.
Information sessions led by an admissions counselor and campus tours led by a current student provide an overview of the Oberlin community and the application process. If you are unable to make it to a visit program, please consult the Visit Calendar to confirm availability for a daily visit throughout the academic year and summer.
