Regional Fly-in Programs

Take advantage of a special trip to Oberlin for prospective students from your area! Our "Fly-In" visit package includes round-trip air transportation, ground transportation in Cleveland to and from campus, overnight accommodations in a residence hall, and all meals on campus. You will have the opportunity to take a tour, talk with students, attend classes, meet with faculty members, and complete an interview in addition to spending the evening with a student host. Fly-In trips are made available to high school seniors during the fall semester. Regional Fly-in Program information will be available in Summer 2013.

Spring Junior Visit Program

The Oberlin College Office of Admissions offers juniors a special Overnight Visit Program. This insider’s view of Oberlin will allow you to take a tour, sit in on classes, speak to admissions counselors and current students, complete an interview, and even stay overnight in a dorm. Registration for the 2013 Junior Visit Progam is now closed.

Summer Open Houses

Looking for a more in-depth college visit this summer? Join us for one of our Summer Open Houses, which will be held on select Fridays this summer. These all-day programs are designed for students in grades 9-12, and will include the opportunity to speak with current students, faculty, and staff; complete a senior admissions interview; and tour many renowned Oberlin facilities, including the Conservatory of Music and the Allen Memorial Art Museum. Senior Summer Interviews

Admissions interviews, information sessions and general campus tours are offered Monday through Friday most days during the summer. Please check the visit calendar for availability. While interviews are not required for admission to Oberlin, except for homeschooled students and students graduating from high school in less than four years, interviews are recommended for all applicants.

Ohio Six College Tour

Join the Ohio Six College Tour in early August for the ultimate college road trip this summer! Ohio is home to some of the finest liberal arts colleges in the country, so you won't want to miss this opportunity to see them all at once. On your personalized road trip, you can visit six colleges in three days – Oberlin College, Denison University, Kenyon College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Wittenberg University, and the College of Wooster. Multicultural Visit Program

The Multicultural Visit Program (MVP) is offered during the fall semester and is available to African American, Asian/Pacific American, Latino/a, and Native American high school seniors. Program participation is highly selective, seeking students serious about Oberlin and their education. Students accepted to the program will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Oberlin and stay in the residence halls, tour the campus, visit classes, and attend admissions and financial aid workshops. You’ll also have a chance to meet current students, professors, and admissions staff. More details and application materials can be found online at www.oberlin.edu/mvp.

 
Did You Know

Social justice is one of Oberlin's core values. Each year, more than 1,000 students participate in service programs. Some of these programs combine service with learning through credit-bearing classes that incorporate a service component.
