Visit Programs

Visit programs are a great way to get to know Oberlin! However, if you are not able to attend one of the programs below, visit opportunities are offered most days of the week. Please contact us at campus.visit@oberlin.edu with any questions. We are looking forward to welcoming you to campus!

Summer Open Houses

For students looking for an in-depth summer visit, a Summer Open House is a full-day program that may be just right for you. Summer 2014 dates are August 1 and 15 - Register here

A Summer Open House on August 8 will be held in conjunction with Kenyon College's August Visit Day on August 7 - Register here!

Regional Fly-ins

Take advantage of a special trip to Oberlin for high school seniors from your area! The Regional Fly-in includes round-trip air transportation, ground transportation between the airport and campus, overnight accommodations in a residence hall, and all meals on campus. Click here to view instructions and a tentative itinerary. To register, click the link for your region below:

    Senior Visit Days

    High school seniors are invited to experience Oberlin through a Senior Visit Day, a full-day program that includes an optional overnight stay in a residence hall with a current student. Fall 2014 Senior Visit Days will be held October 6 & 13 and November 3 & 10 - Register here!

    Access Oberlin

    Access Oberlin is a selective, all-expenses-paid visit program for high-achieving high school seniors. We encourage applications from students from diverse backgrounds such as Black or African-American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Hispanic/Latino(a), or Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. To support socio-economic diversity, the selection committee will also consider students from families with limited financial resources, regardless of cultural or racial background, as well as those who are among the first in their families to attend college (first-generation). Online application materials will be available soon. Fall 2014 program dates are:

    November 20-22, 2014
    December 4-6, 2014

    Spring Junior Visit Program

    Attention juniors! The Spring Junior Visit Program is an insider’s view of Oberlin that will allow you to take a tour, sit in on classes, speak to admissions counselors and current students, complete an interview, and even stay overnight in a dorm. Registration will be available in Winter 2015.

    Summer Interview Days

    Taking a college road trip this summer? Plan a half-day visit stop at Oberlin during a Summer Interview Day! Please note interviews are reserved for rising seniors only. Registration for Summer 2015 dates will be available in Spring 2015.

     
    Did You Know

    Conservatory of Music alumna Claire Chase ’01 is the ninth Oberlin graduate to receive a MacArthur "genius" grant, awarded in 2012. An arts entrepreneur and flutist, she cofounded the International Contemporary Ensemble, which seeks to develop new audiences for contemporary music.
