Having attended a small high school, I truly appreciate a culture where everyone learns from each other within a close-knit community. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Sociology at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and my Master of Higher Education from Loyola University in Chicago. After attending two larger institutions, I knew a return to a smaller community like Oberlin would be a great fit for me post graduation.
Most of the my professional career has been focused on college access. I served as a college advisor for two years through AmeriCorps helping students from underserved backgrounds with the college application process. After two years in admissions with Loyola I'm excited to bring my experience to Oberlin. I look forward to working with students from Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, upstate New York, Rhode Island, Vermont as well as western Pennsylvania, northwestern Ohio, Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
When my schedule allows, I love to spend time with my family as well as try new restaurants. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about the opportunities here at Oberlin.
