Having grown up in a nearby Cleveland suburb and having been with Oberlin admissions since 1998, I consider myself a "pseudo-Obie." As a firm believer in the value of education, I have earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology at the University of Toledo and doctorate in higher and post-secondary education at the University of Michigan. After attending large state universities, I truly appreciate the individual attention Oberlin students receive from our faculty.

I’ve been working in college admissions for many years and love working with students and their families in the college search process. Although I work out of a regional office (aka, home) in the Chicago area, I hope to meet you when I travel to New York’s five boroughs and Westchester County. I will also be working with applicants from Illinois this year.

I spend a lot of my free time cheering on the sidelines for my sons’ football, basketball and baseball games. I love going to art shows, theater productions, and reading. I’m always on the hunt for a great book, so let me know if you have any “must reads”.

Oberlin wins, 12-6. Since then, interscholastic sports programs have grown and the college now supports 21 varsity men's and women's teams.
