Hello! I'm originally from Gallipolis, OH, a historic river city located in southeast Ohio. I earned a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 2004 and a master's from Kent State University in 2007, and some of my favorite experiences in college were teaching English in Poland, interning at the American Cancer Society, and participating in an international case competition in Montreal. After graduation I worked in the private sector for a short time, but I soon made my way back to higher education where I enjoy meeting students and their families and working with them as they go through their college search and application process. I've been with Oberlin's Office of Admissions since 2010.

There are so many amazing things about Oberlin: the Allen Memorial Art Museum, the Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Environmental Studies, and Friday Night Organ Pump are just a few of my favorite things.

This year I'll be working with applications from Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Central and Eastern Ohio, and Kentucky. In addition to reading applications, I also work with our Campus Visit office and would be happy to help you set up your trip to Oberlin, so please don't hesitate to call or email me. Hope to see you soon!

Students who wish to pursue topics outside of traditional courses, an important alternative is available in the Experimental College (ExCo). Founded in 1968, ExCo is a student-run organization that sponsors courses (for limited academic credit) taught Oberlin faculty, students, administrators, and residents. Rock climbing, performance swing, astrology, 16-mm film production, jump rope, bike mechanics, henna body art… you name it, ExCo may have a class about it.
