As a 1988 graduate of Oberlin College I am excited to be working in the Office of Admissions. I look forward to working with you as you consider applying to one of the county's top liberal arts and science colleges.

At Oberlin I majored in art history. After graduation I entered UCLA to attend the Asian American Studies Graduate Program. My first career was in the nonprofit world as an education specialist with the Asian Pacific American Legal Center of Southern California. I later moved to the national office of the Organization of Chinese Americans to lead a national research project. In 1995 I switched careers to become an academic advisor at Phoenix College in Phoenix, Arizona working with first-generation and low-income college students. I returned to Oberlin in 1997.
