Since graduating from Oberlin College with the class of 2010, I worked full time in the food and farming nonprofit sector of Philadelphia. I returned to Oberlin in 2013 to join the college’s Office of Admissions team. I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to share Oberlin’s stories with you, our prospective and future Obies.
During my Oberlin student years, I majored in environmental studies and psychology while actively participating in the student cooperatives, playing on the women’s tennis and ultimate frisbee teams, organizing campus campaigns with OhioPIRG, bowling in the Keglers league, teaching an EXCO, and giving gardening lessons at the local elementary school. I somehow managed to have worked two campus jobs.
In my free time I enjoy exploring culinary arts, practicing yoga, throwing pottery, dancing, and catching up on NPR podcasts. This year my admissions work will take me to schools in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Upstate New York, and Long Island. I will also be working with applications from Nevada. I look forward to meeting you either on the road or when you visit our campus.
