Oberlin's College of Arts and Sciences offers 47 academic majors and 42 minors and areas of concentration. The undergraduate liberal arts degree requires study in each of three broad areas: arts and humanities, social and behavioral sciences, and natural sciences and mathematics. There are also opportunities to build your own interdisciplinary course of study.

Did You Know

Conservatory of Music alumna Claire Chase ’01 received the prestigious MacArthur Fellowship in 2012. An arts entrepreneur and flutist, she cofounded the International Contemporary Ensemble, which seeks to develop new audiences for contemporary music. She is one of 11 alumni to be awarded the "genius" grant.
