Asia House (Quadrangle)

Quadrangle is the largest of all the program houses with an average of 80 residents. Students who live here share a common interest in Asian and Asian American cultures.

Cooper International Learning Center

Located at: Peters Hall
50 North Professor St., Oberlin, OH 44074-1097

The Paul and Edith Cooper International Learning Center is a state of the art learning center specializing in foreign language education. The Cooper Center lab computers supports input and output in Arabic, Russian, German, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, and Italian. A variety of technology—Skype, Audacity, and Second Life, for example—promotes interaction with people in distant parts of the world. The lab also has birds that chirp and a fish tank that gurgles; ambient noises that put people at ease when making their own sounds.

King Hall

Located at: King Hall
10 North Professor St., Oberlin, OH 44074-1097

As the main classroom building for social sciences, humanities, math, and computer science classes, King is always bustling. In addition to classrooms, large lecture halls have data/video projectors with touch-screen controls and network access. Offices of the departments of anthropology, classics, computer science, East Asian studies, expository writing, mathematics, philosophy, and sociology are located in King. Designed by Minoru Yamasaki in 1966, the building resembles the adjacent Conservatory of Music.

Peters Hall

Located at: Peters Hall
50 North Professor St., Oberlin, OH 44074-1097

Also housed in the building are the Office of the Dean of Studies (including academic advising, international students, study away, and winter term), Student Academic Services, Office of Undergraduate Research, Oberlin College Press, and the Learning Assistance Resource Center.
