Viplav Saini (Ph.D., 2009, Johns Hopkins University) is interested in theoretical and empirical issues in Industrial Organization, which is a branch of economics that studies the strategic behavior of firms interacting in imperfectly competitive markets. His existing research analyzes the strategic behavior of farsighted firms that repeatedly participate in government procurement auctions. He currently teaches courses on industrial organization, microeconomic theory and principles of economics.
