PRIVATE READING REQUEST
If you wish to take a private reading for GSFS, you need to fill out this form, along with the form from the registrar's office.
REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF COURSE TO BE INCLUDED IN THE GSFS MAJOR
If you have taken a course that is not listed by the Institute but you think should count for the major, you may apply for approval. Please complete the course approval request form and attach a complete course syllabus. Requests should be submitted to the Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies Standing Committee on Majors.
REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF COURSE OUTSIDE THE MAJOR TO COUNT FOR GSFS
You may apply for a course to count that does not specifically address Institute concerns, if the majority of your written work focuses on gender, sexuality and/or feminist theories (only two such courses can count for the major). In order to request approval of a course for credit towards your Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies major, please submit the Course Outside the Major form and all relevant written materials. Note: you may request approval only after the course has been completed.
STUDENT PERMISSION FORM
This final project permission form must be completed by each student enrolled in Feminist Research Methodologies or completing their GSFS capstone final project in honors or in a GSFS capstone course. The completed form should be submitted to the instructor of the course before the end of the relevant semester. The form and attached documentation are kept on file in the GSFS office for assessment and review purposes.
