The Geology Department is located on the 4th floor of the Carnegie Building.
Facilities include three teaching labs, a geochemistry lab, a GIS computer lab, a plotter room, and an SEM room,in addition to faculty research labs and offices.
Students also frequently take part in faculty-led fieldtrips to places such as the Adirondacks, Niagra Falls, and Maryland so that they can experience looking at the earth outside of classrooms and labs.
Recently the Geology facilities underwent major renovations.
