Rice Hall
Located at: Rice Hall10 North Professor St., Oberlin, OH 44074-1097
Completed in 1910 and named in memory of Conservatory Director Fenelon B. Rice, this four-story stone structure was designed by architect Arthur B. Jennings in the Romanesque style. Offices for the departments of African-American studies, creative writing, economics, English, history, Jewish studies, Latin American studies, politics, religion, and women's studies are located in Rice.
Social Science Data Lab
Located at: King Hall10 North Professor St., Oberlin, OH 44074-1097
This 20-station PC lab supports many types of research. Here students and faculty access a variety of economic, financial, and census data, from historical documents to the daily trading activity of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. Located in King Hall, the lab is available for general use when not reserved for social science classes.
