Banner, PRESTO, DegreeWorks Downtime Due to Upgrades

CIT must upgrade Banner Live this spring to comply with regulatory mandates. To do so requires that the Banner database be offline from a Friday evening until mid-day Sunday. (This upgrade impacts Banner General and modules for Student, Student Accounts and Financial Aid.)
Finding the right weekend is always hard. We have to allow time for the affected departments to test the new software in the Banner test instance, Solo. We also had to avoid the student advising period prior to Registration, then Fall Registration, and the month-end payroll. We also need to be done as much before Commencement as possible.
The least-bad weekend is the first weekend in May. We plan to begin this update Friday, May 2, at 5:00pm, and will have it completed by mid-day on Sunday, May 4.
Please note - Banner and Presto and DegreeWorks will all be unavailable during this time.
