In 2001, the college opened a spacious library within the Science Center devoted to astronomy, biochemistry, biology, botany, chemistry, geology, neuroscience, physics, and zoology. Also well represented are materials in agriculture, medicine, technology, science education, and history and philosophy of science. Students and faculty have access to more than 70,000 books and journals, and 41,000 online journals. The Science Library is a popular north campus location for independent work and group study.
