JACOB SCHIFF, Assistant Professor of Politics received his B.A. from the University of Toronto, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. He works at the intersections of political theory, international relations, phenomenology and literary criticism. His primary research area is contemporary political theory, and emphasizes issues of suffering, political responsibility and redemption in local and global contexts.
