WA Journal

The Oberlin College Writing Associates Program offers a dynamic space for students to think critically, be creative, and collaborate with their peers. We are committed to providing students with opportunities to learn and work in ways that best fit their needs.

In order to create this dynamic space, Writing Associates (WAs) think deeply about their work on a daily basis. The WA Journal is a place for Writing Associates to explore new areas of writing pedagogy and practice, and reflect on their experiences conversing with students about writing that spans all disciplines and genres.

This works emerges from new WAs writing for RHET401: Teaching and Tutoring Writing Across the Disciplines, and experienced WAs who have opted to write pieces on topics that they are interested and invested in exploring further.
