Intro Shorts: Theater 101 Showcase
Dec. 08, 2012
DECEMBER 11 & 12
LITTLE THEATER, OBERLIN COLLEGE
FREE, NO TICKETS REQUIRED
For many Oberlin students who enjoy the performing arts, participating in the Theater 101 showcase is a tradition. After they spent a semester learning about theater, come see the Theater 101 students show off their new skills. Fifty three freshmen students are appearing in eleven dynamic short plays under the direction of upperclassmen Theater majors Carter Sligh, Michael Cunningham, Sophie Weisskoff, and Zach Weinberg. From the budding friendship between a bear and a dog to Hamlet retold with Doctor Seuss language, these plays run the gamut of subjects with humor and with heart. The showcase is an artistic, enjoyable, and free way to de-stress during Reading Period.
