Help Desk

The CIT Help Desk, located in Mudd Center, Level A, room 005, is staffed on weekdays during normal business hours. In addition to assisting with account and password questions and computer software issues, faculty, staff, and students can visit the CIT Help Desk for hardware support or other technology issues.

Apple and Hewlett Packard Professional Line computers, both of which are sold in the Oberlin College Technology Store, can be serviced through the CIT Help Desk. In addition to an onsite Help Desk, any Oberlin College person may send an e-mail message at any time to cit@oberlin.edu, requesting computer and or technology assistance.
 

Technology Services Center

The Technology Services Center (TSC) is on the main level of Mudd Center in the Academic Commons. It was designed specifically with students in mind. The TSC is staffed with student employees from 2 p.m. until midnight on weekdays and from 4 p.m. to midnight on Sundays, in order to provide assistance during hours more convenient for students. The TSC addresses account questions, computer software problems, education about data transfer and backups, and can even check in computers that require additional hardware maintenance.
