Two contrasting selections in French, German, Italian, or English. All works should be performed from memory. Recordings must carry statements that performances have been memorized. Accompanists will be provided for on-campus voice auditions. Applicants auditioning at a regional site must provide their own accompanists.

All applicants in voice interested in auditioning on campus are required to submit a screening CD, DVD, or VHS prior to being invited to campus. If you do not want to be invited to audition on campus, you may submit a recorded audition in DVD or VHS format. Regional auditions do not require a screening recording.

Screening Recording Requirements:

  • Audition requirements as listed above
  • All recordings must be marked "Screening" and must be submitted with the Unified Application for Music and Performing Arts Schools and a $100 (US dollar) application fee. A recording will not be reviewed without receipt of the application and fee. The application fee is paid online when submitting the Unified Application for Music and Performing Arts Schools.

Application/Screening Deadlines for On-campus Voice Auditions:
November 1 for Early Review
December 1 for Regular Review
