I majored in Latin American Studies and had a concentration in International Affairs and a minor in French. After graduating in 2000, I worked for the non-profit Learning Leaders in New York City as a volunteer coordinator, training parents and community members to be volunteers in public schools. The next step was graduate school in 2004 and I studied international affairs at the Fletcher School of Law in Diplomacy at Tufts University. My academic and research focus was on Migration and Latin America and I have recently graduated and moved back to New York. Now I am in the process of seeking employment in a non-profit or international organization that works with immigrant communities in New York City.
