2010 Cooper Competition Winner George Li Performs at White House State Dinner

The 2010 Cooper Competition winner George Li recently performed at a White House State Dinner honoring German Chancellor Angela Merkel. 

After the June 7 event, George’s father, Jian Li, wrote to the conseratory: “[My wife] Katie and I again would like to express our gratitude to the great Oberlin Conservatory and Cooper International Piano Competition. You've provided George with a great opportunity for making music in front of the world and to be recognized by the music community. As parents of George, we do not know how to sufficiently thank you [so] we will just say: Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
