Oberlin's Reaction To Alumna's Ordeal 10 Years Later
Ten years ago, Cynthia Stewart ’74, a longtime Oberlin resident, took pictures of her 8-year-old daughter in the family's bathtub. More than 550 people visited Tappan Square in September for the 2010 Oberlin Bike Festival—48 Oberlin High School students left with new or refurbished bicycles that were given away during the event while festival goers received 330 new bike helmets.
