Stephanie Rawlings-Blake ’92 recently joined classmate Adrian Fenty in the title of mayor of two of the most populated cities in the United States: Rawlings-Blake of Baltimore, Maryland, and Fenty of D.C. Read more.

Roger Ebert calls The Hurt Locker, written by Mark Boal ’95, the second best film of the decade. "The Hurt Locker represents a return to strong, exciting narrative,” Ebert writes in his blog entry. Read more.

Psychoanalyst One (Tony), a drawing by Samantha Mitchell ’08, beat out 3,300 other entries to become a finalist in the Smithsonian Institution’s Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition 2009. Mitchell’s piece will be on view until August 22. Read more.
