Welcome to the Alumni Recruiting Network!

You may not realize it, but alumni are incredibly important in the admissions process.  Our admissions counselors travel across the country and around the world, but we can’t be everywhere.  We rely on alumni volunteers to represent Oberlin at college fairs and to interview many of our applicants. Through the Alumni Recruitment Network, you can shape the next generation of Oberlin College by meeting and speaking with intelligent, creative, active, and enthusiastic students.

As alumni, you are experts and representatives of the college. You define what Oberlin is. Your stories bring Oberlin to life in ways that print materials cannot. As part of the Alumni Recruiting Network, you share your experiences with prospective students, whether it is through interviewing one day a year or attending a college fair or going to an admitted student reception. We cannot emphasize how powerful and positive an impact you have on these prospective students and their families.
