Educational Technology/OCTET

OCTET stands for the Oberlin Center for Technologically Enhanced Teaching.

Our team works with faculty in specific areas to help implement and maintain the technological resources they use to teach and engage students. This includes oversight and development of our learning management system, training students involved in the use of specialized tools, software and spaces, and working on grants and special projects from the Conservatory and A&S Deans.

Currently OCTET works with faculty and students in four major areas:

Science Research

Digital Arts

High-End Computing

Online Teaching Tools
