The internet will be completely down for approximately 15 seconds while the service restarts. Update (09/16/17 5:29 AM): This maintenance was not completed and will be rescheduled for a date later in September.  » 

Issue Printing from Windows to iPrint - 8/11/2017 - 12:12 PM

Some Windows users are currently experiencing intermittent problems printing through iPrint. Some applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer will throw an error while others applications print OK. When the error occurs, the iPrint client will return a "Data submission failed" error. CIT is currently working with the vendor to troubleshoot the issue. In the meantime, Windows users experiencing issues should reinstall their printers using the manual iPrint setup method located on the CIT Wiki. Update (8/14/2017 3:45 PM): CIT has identified a two-part solution to resolve the issue, requiring an immediate update to both the iPrint server and individual end user clients. Emergency Generator Installation - 08/12/2017 - 8:00 AM–3:15 PM

Schedule: Scheduled Type: New Service When: 08/12/2017 8:00 AM–3:15 PM CIT, in conjunction with Facilities Planning and Construction, will be undertaking electrical work this Saturday, August 12 from 8:00 AM–3:15 PM. The primary purpose of this work is to install a new emergency generator for the building following last year's catastrophic failure of the old generator. No downtime for the data center and no impact on network services for the end user is expected.  »

The Banner Finance system will be unavailable due to mandatory fiscal year-end processes Tuesday, August 8 starting at 5:00 p.m. Banner Finance users should log out prior to 5:00 PM. A message will be sent to Banner users when the finance server is again available. The downtime may be as long as a few hours, but is expected to be shorter. This maintenance does NOT affect other Banner services such as Student.  »
