Community Music School Voted "Best Music Instruction"

The conservatory's Community Music School (CMS) has been chosen as Lorain County's premiere source for outreach instruction. More than 600 people cast their votes this past summer during Pulse Magazine's annual "Best of Lorain County" event. "It shows the hard work and dedication of our CMS faculty and the ongoing support from the Oberlin Conservatory,” says Director Louise Zeitlin.

Faculty
Our faculty members are highly qualified musicians and teachers from the community and conservatory. Quality instruction, from the beginning to advanced levels of study, is vital to students’ musical development and has been shown to assist in their academic and social development.
Private Lessons
We are excited to offer an expanded repertoire of musical instruction in both private lessons and classes. Please join us as we create and share music with the northeast Ohio community!
Application
Registration for our programs is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Scholarships
Scholarship application deadlines are July 31, 2011 for returning students and August 20, 2011 for new students.
Please note: Scholarship applications cannot be processed without proof of income.
