The Office of Conference Services at Oberlin College offers a variety of services from hosting large conferences to the rental of campus facilities for weddings and smaller gatherings. Campus facilities are generally available from June 14 through August 7 for major conferences while wedding spaces are available throughout the year.

The Office of Conference Services is able to provide the following services. Based on your specific program needs our Office can provide a conference cost proposal outlining specific facility assignments.


All conference participants are roomed in traditional style residence halls. Amenities provided include a pillow and blanket and an optional linen package (which consists of 1 pillowcase, 2 sheets, 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel). A 3% city bed tax and 3% county bed tax will be incurred if guests stay less than 30 nights.


Meals are served buffet-style in our air-conditioned dining hall on north campus. If you would like to make specific recommendations or suggest menu items, please feel free to submit them to our office.


We are able to offer catering services for your group. Our catering department is flexible and is able to prepare everything from coffee breaks to formal banquets for your group. Linens, china, glassware and silverware are included in the cost of the meal. Centerpieces are available for an additional cost.


Campus facilities across campus are available for use. Cost of facility use is determined by actual meeting time as well as special support needs. All guests are welcome to use the Philips Physical Education Center at no additional charge during regular hours.


A 6.75% sales tax will be assessed on all housing, dining, catering, and miscellaneous charges incurred unless your conference group provides our Office with a copy of an Ohio tax exempt certificate.
