The Office of the Controller is responsible for managing the overall accounting and treasury service operations of the college. This includes preparing the college’s annual financial report, ensuring that the official accounting records of the college are up-to-date and accurate, providing guidance to college personnel in the interpretation of the accounting records, monitoring the college’s tax compliance, servicing Federal Perkins and Oberlin College student loans, and performing all accounts payable functions, including payment of college expenses and travel expense reimbursements.

The controller reports to the associate vice president for finance.
