Creativity Fund

Overview

Creativity Fund awards of up to $2,000 support students in developing project to explore their entrepreneurial aspirations.  Creativity Fund awards are ideal for students with early-stage ideas. The fund supports students who articulate problems or opportunities and who propose solutions in the form of entrepreneurial ventures; Creativity Fund awards finance projects to test out these entrepreneurial ideas. The project should represent one step in a larger venture.

Who Should Apply?

Any student currently enrolled in either the College of Arts and Sciences or the Conservatory of Music is eligible to apply. The Creativity & Leadership Project welcomes a wide range of projects, including those focused on social change.

There are multiple deadlines for submitting proposals throughout the academic year. Typically there is one deadline in the fall and two deadlines in early spring. Applicants are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the resources made available to them through the Creativity & Leadership Project. We are available to discuss proposals prior to submission.

The Creativity Fund is supported in part by the Student Finance Committee at Oberlin College.
