Aaron Wolff, from Newton, MA, is a senior double-degree student in cello performance and comparative literature at Oberlin. Wolff won First Prize in the 2010 Boston Symphony Concerto Competition. Other competitions have led to performances with chamber orchestra A Far Cry and the Boston Trio, and he has recently appeared in the Oberlin Honors Showcase at the Kennedy Center. Wolff has spent many summers playing music with others in a variety of genres including folk and contemporary classical. Equally at home with the solo repertoire, he has participated in many master classes with world-renowned pedagogues and soloists.
