Chicago-area violist, Corey Worley, is a junior at Oberlin College and Conservatory pursuing degrees in viola performance, under Peter Slowik, and psychology. He has participated in masterclasses led by Heidi Castleman, Garth Knox, Dimitri Murrath, Jean Sulem, and members of the Jupiter String Quartet, Mivos String Quartet, and Calder String Quartet. Corey has attended Le Domaine Forget, Sejong Music Festival, and the Vernon-Castleman Viola Seminar. Corey has soloed with the Benefic Chamber Orchestra and the Credo Brandenburg Ensemble. Through his interests in psychology, Corey has worked under performance psychologist Dr. Noa Kageyama at the Juilliard School and Dr. Jeffrey Huber.
