Jonah Haven (b. 1995) is an emerging American composer. He attended the Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA, and graduated in 2012. Jonah has studied composition privately with Lewis Nielson, Chaya Czernowin, and Sabrina Schroeder. He has been a four-time finalist for the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Awards, third place winner of the 2010 Pike's Peak Young Composers Competition, the first runner-up of the 2011 NYAE Young Composer Competition, a finalist for the 2011 Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award, and second place winner of the 2012 BGSU Young Composers' Competition among others. Jonah now attends the Oberlin College and Conservatory pursuing a double degree in composition and creative writing.
