Project Description

Preventing and Responding to Sexual Misconduct, or PRSM (pronounced "prism") is a peer leadership program that provides meaningful prevention education on sexual misconduct and gender-based discrimination and harassment to Oberlin College students. A leadership team develops workshops and provides training to peer trainers as an expression of Oberlin students’ commitment to an inclusive campus free of gender-based discrimination and harassment, including sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and stalking. Launched in Fall 2014, PRSM provides students a broad overview of campus conduct expectations and practical strategies to prevent misconduct and empower bystanders. The Title IX Team provides administrative support, education and resources, compliance guidance, and advising to this student initiative.
