About Our Services

Peer Education
Peer education operates on the principle that young people are more likely to be genuinely influenced by members of their own group of friends than by outsiders, particularly adult authorities. The Center for Leadership in Health Promotion has multiple Peer Health Advocates. These studentstaff work in the College community to promote healthy behaviors among students.

Life Skills
Lifestyle change can be facilitated through a combination of efforts to enhance awareness, change behavior and create environments that support good health practices.
The Center is a safe, private place to access information and support for such changes. We can help you locate the services you need, when you need them. Student employees, volunteers, and campus and community professionals are here to help you develop healthy habits of living while at college.

We offer a wide range of health promotion and wellness programs and services:

Wellness, Health Education and Health Promotion, Peer Health Education, Health Kits, Fitness and Nutrition information and support, Sexual Health Information, Sexualized Violence Prevention Information, Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Awareness and Prevention, Emotional Wellness and Relationship Skill Building, etc.
