Community Service

Dascomb - 1 Wing of Third Floor

The Community Service Wing aims to expose students to social justice issues in order to connect them to their wing, the College, the Bonner Center for Service & Learning (BCSL), and the community.  Through active participation in community service and reflection residents will develop an understanding of their ability to impact change in the world.

Activities may include: Eco-social context tour, Bulletin board about Lorain County statistics, orientation for wing including discussion of social justice by the Resident Assistant for that floor, BCSL open house for wing, attend Fall Connections Fair, Day of Service, wing participation in group service and reflection 2 times per semester.
