The Do-It-Yourself Theme Community strives to be a community in which individuals work together, learn from each other, and seek advice from outside sources to make fun and useful items.  The group is dedicated to the spirit of Do-It-Yourself crafting and to learning new skills.  Some examples of  hall  activities would be binding books, carving wooden utensils, making greeting cards, constructing cardboard furniture, baking, making pinch pots, and cutting hair.  DIY Hall provides an environment in which you can work alongside people as you complete an individual project, or recruit others to help you complete a larger project.  Since each person comes into the hall with a different set of interests and areas of expertise, hall members are encouraged to share their passions with the hall.
