Mac Protection Package
The Oberlin Technology Store has partnered with Safeware (http://safeware.com, 1-800-800-1492) to provide warranty coverage and accidental damage protection for any Apple computer purchased directly from us. The package costs only $275 and provides four years of coverage with no deductible. Safeware is an Ohio-based company that has been providing coverage for computers for 30 years.
If you have any hardware problems with your Mac, you can bring it to us and we will repair it at no charge to you! Or, if you’re not in Oberlin, contact Safeware and they will instruct you how to get your computer repaired at no charge.
- Costs only $275 for 4 years of coverage with no deductible (batteries excluded)
- Membership ID card provided (keep for future use!)
- Must be purchased and registered within 30 days of purchase of computer
- Covers manufacturer’s defects as well as accidental damage (drops, spills, etc)
- Does not cover theft or loss
- Service worldwide, just contact Safeware
- Lemon policy for multiple repairs
