Office of Student Accounts

The Office of Student Accounts manages students accounts by issuing statements of account to students and recording payments made on student accounts. Statements include bills for tuition, fees incurred throughout a semester, and any individual charges made by a student to his or her account. The office also provides assistance to students and their parents and guardians in resolving billing difficulties, as well as financial counseling and facilitating financial arrangements.

Current Highlights

Statements for the semester are available on PRESTO the first business day of each month.   Students are responsible to provide statement information to any third parties.  Statements are also mailed to students at the permanent address on file with the college. It is important to keep your information current. Information is also available in the student catalog

Health Insurance :   Students enrolling at Oberlin and attending classes on campus for the 14/15 school year will be billed and enrolled in the Oberlin student health insurance.  Cost for the 2014/15 school year is $1,023.00.  All students are required to have health insurance while attending Oberlin College.  For students enrolled for the spring term 2015, the deadline to waive health insurance is February 15, 2015.  Information about the health insurance benefits  can be found on the following link : Academic HealthCare

  • Oberlin College has instituted a student health fee that will be applied to student accounts. This fee will provide services and programs that support the physical and mental well-being of students. Visit our Parents website for details outlined in the FAQs: Student Health Fee.

    • Semester statements:  Statements are available on PRESTO the first business day of each month.  It is the students responsibility to make sure this information is provided to all interested parties.  Paper statements are mailed to students at their permanent addresses.

    • Paying Your bill online Just click on Payment on the Web on the left menu to pay your bill quick and securely online

    • International Students Wire Transfer:  Oberlin College is now offering services to help our international students who use wire transfers to pay their student charges.  Please go to paying the term bill under About the Term bill on the menu for more information and the link to this service.

    Use the instructions below to access your on-line statement in PRESTO  

    • Log into PRESTO using your User ID and PIN number;

    • Select Accounts Receivable (top part of screen)/Statement and Payment History

    Student Obligations

    Students are responsible for meeting their financial obligation to the college. Failure to do so may result in holds on registration and enrollment, denial of transcript requests and withholding of diplomas. If you have questions about your account, please contact the office and we will gladly provide you with assistance.

    Oberlin College Payment Plan

    Oberlin offers a payment plan that is interest free and allows families to pay the balance due for the term over three equal installments each semester. Payments for the Spring 2015 semester are due on Jan 27, Feb 25, and March 25, 2015. Please complete the enrollment form and mail with your first payment to the Office of Student Accounts at the address on the form.
