Office of Student Accounts

The Office of Student Accounts manages students accounts by issuing statements of account to students and recording payments made on student accounts. Statements include bills for tuition, fees incurred throughout a semester, and any individual charges made by a student to his or her account. The office also provides assistance to students and their parents and guardians in resolving billing difficulties, as well as financial counseling and facilitating financial arrangements.

Current Highlights

  • Spring semester statements:  Statements for the Spring 2012 semester are available on PRESTO.  Paper statements will be mailed the week of Jan. 2  to students at their permanent addresses.

  • Paying Your bill online:  Just click on Payment on the Web on the left menu to pay your bill quick and securely online. 

  • International Students Wire Transfer:  Oberlin College is now offering services to help our international students who use wire transfers to pay their student charges.  Please go to paying the term bill under About the Term bill on the menu for more information and the link to this service.

  • Spring Health Insurance Charge: Students returning to Oberlin for the fist time this school year have been billed the Student Health Insuance.  If you have elected to waive the insurance you can complete the waiver form by clicking on the link below.   Deadline to waive the insurance is Feb. 15, 2012.                                                                             Academic Health Plans

Use the instructions below to access your on-line statement in PRESTO  

  • Log into PRESTO using your User ID and PIN number;

  • Select Accounts Receivable (top part of screen)/Statement and Payment History/View Statement;

  • If you wish to forward a copy to the person responsible for paying the bill, right click and save it to your desktop;  Students: it is your responsibility to make sure that you provide a copy of your monthly statement to the payor(s) of your term bill.

  • If you wish to pay the amount due while in PRESTO, click on “Make a Payment” located in the bottom right of the Statement and Payment History screen.

  • You can also pay your bill online at: Payment on the Web.  Contact our office directly if you need wiring instructions.

  • PLEASE NOTE:  The Account Summary area in PRESTO reports total charges and payments on your account.  It does not include anticipated third party contract payments, memo items and authorized financial aid.  The account summary is for general information, and should not be used when calculating your semester payment amount. 


The Student Accounts Office does not transfer funds to OSCA on behalf of students. 

 

SAO does not transfer funds to the Oberlin Student Cooperative Association (OSCA) on behalf of students.  Students assigned to OSCA for living and/or dining will be billed separately by OSCA and should make payment arrangements directly with the organization.  Additional information is available by telephone 440-775-8108, email: osca@oberlin.edu, or their website, Oberlin Student Cooperative Association.

Oberlin College Payment Plan

 

Oberlin offers a payment plan that is interest free and allows families to pay the balance due of the term bill over three equal installments each semester.  Payments for the Spring 2012 semester are due on Jan. 26, Feb. 24, and March 26, 2012.  Please complete the enrollment form and mail with your first payment to the Office of Student Accounts at the address on the form.
