The Oberlin College Parents website is intended to provide you with useful information about the college's programs, resources, policies, and procedures. We've sought to gather together in one place basic information about the college, provide answers to practical questions or point you to the right resource, and generally convey a sense of what Oberlin College is about. We welcome any questions or suggestions you wish to share with us about the website. Send your comments by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Student Health Insurance
Oberlin College requires that all students maintain student health insurance coverage as a condition of enrollment. You may apply for a waiver if your student already has coverage under an alternate health insurance plan that meets certain minimum requirements, meaning that is comparable to the Oberlin College health insurance plan.
Students without health insurance must enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan provided and coordinated by Academic Health Plans (AHP). This plan offers students and their dependents an affordable, high quality health insurance plan. If you have health insurance and wish to waive this plan, you must do so by completing an online waiver form by September 15, 2014.
Refer to the Student Health Services website for complete details about this process. If you have specific questions, call Student Health Services (440) 775-8180 or send e-mail to email@example.com.
