The Cat in the Cream is a student-run performance and meeting space. The coffeehouse-style friendly environment welcomes student groups and guest artists alike. The Cat is a space for music, spoken word, theater dance, improve, slam poetry, workshops, community events, and student activism meetings.

Bookings showcase homegrown talent along with national and even international acts. In recent years, students have enjoyed end of the semester performances by the popular Oberlin Steel and the local radio program, Dead Hear Footsteps.

Check out the Cat’s radical zine library or stop by for a study break, to hang out, or see a free show. We serve reasonably priced coffees, teas, and juices, along with the Cat's famous giant cookies.

For more details and to see who's performing, refer to the Cat in the Cream website.
