Counseling Center

Counseling Center Lounge Counseling is an educational process in which you may gain new perspectives about yourself and others, and acquire skills that enable you to function more effectively. All Oberlin College students have access to the Counseling Center, whose primary purpose is to offer psychological support as you pursue your academic and personal goals, and to enhance the quality of your experience at the college.

Our staff provides counseling, psychotherapy, and other services. The center is mainly intended for assessment and short-term counseling, with referrals to private counselors in the Oberlin area if necessary. Your tuition covers the cost of our services; private care may be a separate cost.

Our services are confidential.

You will find our offices a short walk from the center of campus at 247 W. Lorain St., Suite D, in the Professional Services Building.

Visit the Counseling Center website to learn more about who we are and how we may assist you.
