The Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Planning supports campus-wide academic and administrative decision-making, assessment, and planning through the coordination of efforts and the collection, curation, analysis, and dissemination of data.

In all work, the IEP team strives to uphold the following values:

  • Ensure accuracy & completeness by using structured, repeatable, multi-step processes, and proven methodologies;

  • Act as responsible data stewards, protecting data from misuse and ensuring privacy and confidentiality;  

  • Promote equity by exploring at micro and macro levels to uncover disparity of experience; and, 

  • Seek to be fair and transparent, minimizing personal biases in research assumptions and conclusions.
