After teaching for a year at Oberlin as an FLTA in 2008/2009, I went back home and taught English for three years in Burgundy. I am now in Oberlin again to teach French 101. I am also the Faculty-in-Residence at the French House, which is the French cultural center on campus. It is an amazing opportunity for students to experience a little bit of genuine France through cinema, food, meetings, books or games.
My academic interests are centered around late twentieth century French philosophy, in particular Deleuze and Foucault.
