Jamie Wagner was recently awarded the American Physiological Society’s David S Bruce Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research. A senior double major in biology and neuroscience from North Carolina, Jamie plans to pursue a PhD in the future. She does research in Professor Maureen Peters' laboratory in the Department of Biology. Wagner's project investigates the regulation of a proton signaling network in the nematode, C. elegans, using molecular genetic and in vivo imaging techniques.
