CIT provides help in many areas to all Oberlin College community personnel - students, faculty, and staff. Information on specific information technology (IT) topics is available by clicking on one of the links at the left.

- Visiting our CIT Help Desk on the 1st floor of Mudd Center, located within the Academic Commons. Start by visiting the us at the Technology Help desk, at the centrally-located Information area. Our staff member there will answer your questions and will work to resolve any issues with your laptop, or other mobile device, at no charge, for 10 minutes. If the problem cannot be resolved within that time period, the staff member will create a work order, and check your computer in for further troubleshooting and repair. Our Help Desk Coordinator is located in Mudd 112B, and she will initiate any further work required. After your computer is repaired, it will be available for pickup in Mudd 112B. Normal hours of operation for Technology Help are listed below. Note: We are closed each day for lunch from 12 P.M. noon to 1 P.M. and are closed in the early evenings for dinner. The schedule will change for break periods and holidays (fewer open hours), and during reading periods (more open hours).
