Adam Work is an East Asian Studies major with a passion for understanding cultures through language, music, and interpersonal connections. He nurtures this interest academically through coursework in politics, Chinese language, and linguistics. Outside of class, he chairs the Folk Music Club, where he spearheaded publicity, talent acquisition, and logistical coordination for the annual Folk Fest.  He also helped found a new folk showcase series. Adam is grounded by his love of traditional fiddle music, leading an open band for monthly folk dances, performing with ensembles around Oberlin, and participating in workshops and jams whenever possible.
