The Tap Project (Spring 2016-17)

I have been acting for eight years and tap dancing for thirteen. As a theater artist, it is my mission to tell the stories of communities that are silenced. Being a youth ensemble member at The American Theater Company taught me documentary theater as an actor, writer, and director. Now, a third-year Theater major and Africana Studies minor at Oberlin College, I have been in five main stages and two black box productions. As a tap dancer, I was an apprentice in the professional tap dance company M.A.D.D. Rhythms, I have performed in showcases, and I was hired as a featured soloist at a 2016 Anisfield Wolf Book Awards celebration.
