The Office of the Dean of Students has as its mission to lead and inspire the Division of Student Life to foster a sense of community in this residential college in which students build lasting relationships based on: the principles of ethical conduct; an understanding of diversity in all of its complexity; respect for self and others; the lived values of social justice and equity; and a commitment to promoting positive change in the world.

Confidential counseling services for Oberlin students. After hours telephone counseling support is available by calling the number above and selecting option 2. 

The Multicultural Resource Center 440-775-8802 A gathering place for the collaborative support of historically disenfranchised communities which works on issues of diversity and inclusion within a social justice context. 

The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life 440-775-8103 

A multifaith resource center that supports religious practice, education, service, and activism, and provides spiritual support and counseling.

Available to provide individual support to students and strategies for accessing resources at Oberlin, including ways to find assistance if you’re not sure where to start.

The Dean of Students office provides developmental advising and support for international students. The Dean of Studies office provides regulatory advising. Contact either number for advice on the right place to address your concerns.

Support regarding reports of discrimination and harassment, including sexual violence, stalking, and intimate partner violence.

Confidential support, referral and crisis evaluation service. Trained mental health professionals answer the hotline.

Call the hotline for support during sexual assault evidence collection, legal, short-term crisis intervention, individual or group support, referrals for counseling, and support for family members and significant others.
